I just found your site and wanted to say thank you so much for spreading the word on the hidden jems that shelter dogs are! My parents adopted "Harley" a black lab/?? mix from a shelter a little over a year ago and he is the most wonderful dog ever. They got him just in time too because he was scheduled to be put down that day. In the shelter Harley was afraid and just hid in his house all day. Once home he came out of his shell. He is GREAT WITH CATS and gets along great with their other dog too. Harley is super smart and a fast learner. He is a total people dog always ready to follow you around or just lay at your side while you work. I myself have a shelter chow chow and 2 cats both from shelters. Thanks! Toni Hi Janine!
